The Cowslip Essence Story
As a child I loved this flower, they were much rarer then but grew on the common land above the valleys we lived in. I remember being a rather intense child and took the responsibility of being the older sister very seriously. These flowers always cheer me up when I see them- they look so perky on their solid stems above the short grass early in the season. They always make me want to skip with joy that spring is here again.
Cowslip was the second essence I made because I wanted to find out what this flower I loved so much I felt it was a childhood friend was for. It was only recently that it came to me that they might be called cowslips because they look so much like udders with deep yellow milk coming from them. This essence brings a safe mothered feeling that enables you to skip with joy again.
