The Path Ahead Combination Essence Story
My garden has a lovely selection of apple trees, some have been here for over 40 years and some are new arrivals. The blossom time is wonderful ,the whole valley is filled with the beautiful whitish pink flowers.
I initially made this essence with a group of teenagers in mind that needed direction. All apple essences carry a very clean and focused message of being here now. Most of us have found ourselves having a bath to relax and then thinking about all the things we should be doing or having a conversation with someone and not paying our full attention to that person. Apple essences in general help us focus our attention to be here right now.
Over the two week blossom time I made five apple essences from different varieties of apple trees.
Each variety had a particular message:
Falstaff apple tree Its message was to assist you in what you want or need to do. It's important to have a mission statement or several for what you want in your life. If you can take time to do a short visualisation journey and take the essence this will assist you in finding a mission statement. See exercise below.
Ashmeads Kernel apple tree: for purity clarity generosity and bountifulness. When you are working on your mission statement its good to work out your own set of values.
Unknown variety of cider apple: for experimenting with ideas. It is essential to experiment- you may find that something is very important to you that you have not noticed or discovered. Experimenting will allow you to expand and multiply your vision of what you want to do and what you want to see in 'The Path Ahead'
Lanes Prince Albert apple tree: for self discovery. Who do you want to be? Feel free to create a future that is very different from what you are doing now. Try things out and do get rid of any problems that are stopping your creation. For example money constraints, health problems, family expectations, friends. This is your life to be who you want to be.
Kidds Orange apple tree: for focus and will power. For any project to succeed you need to take the first step and keep on track. Make sure you reward yourself and have FUN- this will strengthen your will power.
During courses that Saskia & I have run I have led people on a visualisation using this combination essence. This is something that you can try when taking the Path Ahead.
1. Take a piece of paper and write down what ever comes into your head that relates to what you want .Do not think too much- just write intuitively what you would like in your life.
2. Look at your writing and divide it up into three sections First section is material things like new house, car etc Second section is actions- maybe you want to learn new skills, become a dancer, learn a language, become a doctor Third section is values- maybe you wanted to become more loving , more tolerant ,honest , generous. It is this 3rd section that will be the biggest help in finding your soul path.
3. Now make your self-comfortable, close your eyes and imagine you are taking a walk, feel your self moving safely and at a steady pace, notice what is around you. If there are any obstacles or difficulties on your walk clear them away and notice your path flowing freely into the distance. Keep moving steadily- remember every step you take is helping you along your path.
4. While you are visualising and walking have a look around for anything that you wouldn't expect to find while you are walking, remember this and carry on walking. Let the sun warm you and soak up its rays- you have done well, congratulate yourself and gradually bring yourself back to the present by opening your eyes.
5. Now go back to your paper that you wrote on and add four more things that you would like to have happen in your life. It is important to be bountiful with your ideas -sometimes we don't get everything that we are passionate about but if you get half you would still be happy as you have expanded your ideas.
6. Read all the things that you have written and see if you can find one word or a phrase that is something that runs through all the things that you wrote paying special attention to the values that are important to you.
7. When you have a word or a sentence take time to say this to yourself during the day, write it down. If it was one word try experimenting with putting the words 'I am' before your special word and see how that feels. Every step you take is getting you closer to your life path.
8. Keep repeating your walk and practicing your mission statements knowing this will bring you closer to your life path.
