This is a by-product that is produced when I distil Lavender for our Easy Sleep Mist and I’ve collected enough over the years to offer it for sale. Very little (around 10-20ml) is produced each time I set up my still and I carefully remove it from the top of the hydrosol and keep it to one side.
Made from several different varieties of Lavendula angustifolia (including Lullaby Blue and Ashdown Forest ) this oil is perfect to keep in your first aid kit or take on holiday.
For most people it is safe to use directly on the skin for insect bites and burns but I would suggest doing a patch test first if you have sensitive skin -and then dilute in a base oil before use.

“OMG..just received mine.. I'm exploring my way into the aroma now. It's got so many layers to it. It's instantly fresher in the same way that home-grown veg is when compared to supermarket veg. The aroma is heady and woody too. It's got that classic lavender clean, fresh smell but it's taking me to the roots. I'm gonna let it settle for a bit and see how the afternotes are.
Now, an hour later, it's unmistakably lavender but it's retained quite a strong base note which reminds me of apple.”
